Please include as much detail as possible, including your preferred date, time, type of event and expected number of guests. Submitting an enquiry does not confirm a booking. A member of the team will contact you to discuss availability and confirm arrangements.

Booking Information

Bookings at The Clubhouse Drumpellier are available to club members only. If you are not a member, you can join the club at the same time as confirming your booking.

A booking fee of £75 applies to all bookings. This fee is refunded to full members after the event has taken place, provided there are no issues following the booking.

For social members, the £75 booking fee is non-refundable.

High-demand booking deposit
For First Holy Communion celebrations and any other high-demand booking category identified by the club, a refundable deposit of £300 is required to secure the booking. This has been introduced due to previous late cancellations and the difficulty of re-letting the hall at short notice, resulting in a cost to the club of unnecessary additional staffing.

The deposit will be refunded after the event, less any applicable non-refundable booking fee for social members, damage costs, additional cleaning costs, unpaid charges, or cancellation charges where the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the event.

The club may retain some or all of the deposit if:

• the booking is cancelled within 14 days of any event;

• damage is caused during any event;

• additional cleaning or costs are required after any event;

• the terms of the booking are not followed.

Use of the Hall

Bookings are for use of the function hall only and do not provide exclusive use of the whole clubhouse or club grounds. Drumpellier is a members’ sports club and may remain open to members, guests and visitors during private functions. Cricket, rugby or other club activity may also be taking place before, during or after a booking.

Safety Around Sporting Activity

Drumpellier is an active sports club and cricket, rugby or other sporting activity may be taking place during a booking. Guests must stay off the field of play, pitches, cricket square, outfield and any restricted sporting areas unless authorised by the club. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, particularly where cricket balls, rugby balls or other sporting activity may present a risk. The hirer and guests are responsible for following club instructions and taking appropriate care while on club premises.

Bouncy Castles and Inflatables

Bouncy castles and similar inflatables are permitted only with prior approval from the club and are subject to an additional £25 charge.

Inflatables must be positioned in the location directed by the club. As Drumpellier is an active sports club, the permitted location may depend on what sporting activity is taking place on the day of the booking.

Where rugby is being played, inflatables must normally be placed on the grass at the front of the pavilion. Where cricket is being played, inflatables must normally be placed on the grass at the rugby pitch side of the pavilion.

The hirer is responsible for ensuring that any inflatable is provided, set up, supervised and removed safely, and that the supplier has appropriate insurance and safety documentation. The club reserves the right to refuse or stop use of an inflatable if it is not considered safe or appropriately located.
